Today, we can easily grab a piece of paper and write on it with a grand choice of pens.
I prefer a three-color pen from Pilot when making notes. For signing important papers I like to use my 30-year old Montblanc fountain pen.
There are also the permanent marker by Zebra or Sharpie.
And not to forget my Fude pen.
