In the path through life, people do bad things, and sometimes we are affected.
New studies point to changes in our brain waves from these actions. Not because something was done to us, but because we hold onto them. We burden our brain with thoughts that distract the brain from today’s tasks.
It turns out one of the ways to free your mind and restore the brainwaves to their peak performance is to forgive those who continue to anger you. In the words of that song, “Let it go”.
The alpha, beta, theta waves that you emit go the wrong way and slow down your mind when there is buried anger and hurt.
In order to really forgive, you must dig that past up and really work to put yourself in the shoes of the person who wronged you. Why would they be so bad….to you?
This forgiveness is not to make the world a better place and a happier environment, it is really to free your mind to do great things.
It’s in the bible and has always been there. We’ve just been reading it the wrong way.
By the same token, wake up and be thankful for what you have. Recognize that today is a good day and compare your accomplishments only to the things you are capable of doing. Look back to understand how far you have come, and be appreciative.
With forgiveness and gratitude, you free your mind to do the great work you were meant to do today.
Press forth and prosper.
