In 5 minutes, Sting describe how he comes up with ideas for lyrics and music. He dismisses the idea that a musician must subscribe to a single genre. If there are rules for a genre he will probably break them…he plays the music that he feels, not the music that some school of music has determined is “correct”.
I ended my 5 minute edit with Sting singing his line from the Police song, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, “must I always be alone…?”, echoing our theme yesterday about lonliness.
It was as if Sting had invaded my mind and provided the content for our room on clubhouse.
